You can visit the Castle of Good Hope, Robben Island, where Mandela spent 18 years in prison, the museums and art galleries, or take the funicular to Table Mountain, from where you will have a spectacular panoramic view. Not forgetting to stroll along the famous Long Street, full of life with its shops and clubs, and the Waterfront, an ideal place for leisure with its restaurants, terraces and shops. In the surrounding area we also find places of great interest, including the Cape of Good Hope Peninsula area; the Stellenbosch vineyards area, with its Dutch architectural style buildings, where we can go wine tasting in one of its cellars; the town of Hermanus, where we can observe the largest concentration of whales in Africa (in season, from July to November).
