Departure by flight to Abu Dhabi. Arrival and accommodation.
Breakfast. Visit of this city, capital of the emirates. Here modern architecture is combined with the tradition of its mosques. We start our tour at the famous Sheikh Zayed Mosque, one of the largest and most spectacular mosques in the world. Visit the Heritage Village, an open-air museum that allows us to learn about the Emirati past, while we see the spectacular skyline of Abu Dhabi. Continue to Saadiyat Island, where we stop for a photo stop at the spectacular Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum before continuing to Yas Island, home to the Formula 1 circuit and the theme parks of Ferrari World, Warner Bros and Yas Waterworld. Afternoon at leisure.
Visit the famous Ferrari Park which is located on the man-made Yas Island. It features attractions such as a racing circuit which is used for the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, a Warner Bros theme park, unique hotels, Ferrari theme park, water park and a 300,000 square meters area, green areas, golf courses, lagoon, marinas and polo clubs. In the afternoon continuation to Dubai.
Breakfast and city tour, we start our tour in the old part of Dubai, visiting the Bastakiya district, the Al Fahidi Fort, and the Dubai Museum (closed for renovation), where we can learn about the history and culture of this nation. Then we cross the Dubai Creek with the ‘Abra’, the famous water taxi, to visit the spice and gold markets. Continue to the ‘Union House’ and on to the Jumeirah Mosque for a photo stop. Cross the sunny Jumeirah beach to see the luxurious ‘Burj Al Arab’ hotel. We continue along Sheikh Zayed Road, from where we can see the city's skyscrapers. Downtown Dubai for a Panoramic tour, where the tallest tower in the world, the ‘Burj Khalifa’ is located.
Half board. Free time until we pick you up at the hotel to go by 4x4 to the desert. On this excursion we will feel all the adrenaline of driving over huge dunes, enjoying the breathtaking scenery. In the evening we will head to the Bedouin camp where we can enjoy a camel ride, get a henna tattoo, smoke shisha, dress up as Emiratis or even buy some souvenirs. Finally, barbecue dinner while enjoying a folkloric show.
Breakfast. Morning departure to Fujairah. The first visit will be to the spectacular Sheikh Zayed Mosque of Fujairah, the second largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates. This mosque, with similarities to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, will impress us by its dimensions, with its 6 minarets and 58 domes covering the roof. We will then visit the Fujairah National Museum, which is located inside a former palace, as well as the Fujairah Heritage Village, which shows us the different types of dwellings that the Emiratis had in the past. From there we will head north to Bidiya, where we will see the oldest mosque in all the Emirates (entrance is not allowed).
Breakfast. Free time to enjoy the distinct landscape of this emirate. Return to Dubai.
Breakfast, free morning in Dubai. In the afternoon, visit of the emirate of Sharjah. The third largest Emirate in the nation and named as the ‘cultural capital’ of the UAE due to its commitment to art, culture and heritage. The tour starts with a panoramic view of the renowned University of Sharjah inaugurated in 1998, from there we will proceed to the ‘Cultural Roundabout’. Visit the Sharjah Islamic Museum, one of the most important museums in the UAE, where all the Arab knowledge and art is presented. We will visit the Souq Al Arsah and Bait Al Naboodah, a former Emirati residence. Finally, we will enjoy the Souq Al Jubail market, a spectacular market of fish, meat, fruits and vegetables where customers can enjoy and buy spices and local products.
