Departure by flight to Marrakech. Arrival and accommodation.
Half board. Morning visit to this imperial city with its great historical past: the Menara Gardens with its Saadi pavilion, entrance not included, next to a large pond; the Koutubia Mosque or the booksellers, whose minaret of Hispano-Moorish style is the symbol of the city; the exceptional Mausoleum of the Saadian princes of the sixteenth century and the sumptuous Bahia Palace, built in the nineteenth century by artisans of Fez. We will admire the exteriors of the Madrasa of Ben Yussef (one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, from the XVI century); lunch in the medina of Marrakech discovering the secrets of traditional Moroccan cuisine. Afternoon at leisure in the Medina to stroll through its souks. Entrance fees included to the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs.
Full board. Transfer to the desert of Agafay (40 km) through the Kirk plateau. As a backdrop the Berber villages and towns of stone and adobe and the immense peaks of the Atlas. We will disembark at Lake Takerkuch, which we will leave aside to continue to the restaurant for lunch. Continuation, crossing a track where we find some settlements of shepherds and herds grazing. In autumn and spring the view of the Atlas with its snow-capped peaks is spectacular. Arrival at the camp where we will enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight in Jaima.
Breakfast. Return to Marrakech and rest of the day at leisure.
