Departure by flight to Paris. Arrival. Free time to enjoy the city. Overnight stay.
Free days. Accommodation. Don't miss:- Place des Vosges: The most perfect and beautiful square in Paris, where you can visit Victor Hugo's house. Do not miss the Hotel de Sully which is accessed through an almost secret passageway.- Electrons Libres: A 'squat' center at 59 rue Rivoli with the most original facade of the city.- The Picasso Museum: Occupies the magnificent Hotel Salé and contains not only work of the painter, but also part of his private collection. Palais-Royal: A magical space in the center where Louis XIV spent part of his childhood but then became a red light district and thanks to Daniel Buren was transformed in 1980 into an oasis of tranquility and meditation. Place Vendome: The most elegant and grandiose space in Paris where César Ritz reinvented the hotel business.- Passage de Choiseul: The most charismatic and mysterious of all the passages built in the 19th century.- Viaduc des Arts: The old railway viaduct between Bastille and Vincennes, converted in the nineties into an unusual design center and hanging garden.- Canal St. Martin: From Paris-Arsenal to the Science Museum in La Villette, a river walk full of surprises.- The Parc des Buttes-Chaumont: One of the many secret gardens of Paris, it is perhaps one of the most romantic and picturesque with a temple dedicated to Sybilla on top of a hill facing a pond.- The Père-Lachaise cemetery: A huge open-air sculpture museum but also an exciting place where fans of artists and writers such as Oscar Wilde, Chopin, Jim Morrison and Marcel Proust still keep alive the memory of their heroes. Two good panoramic terraces for the best views of the city: the eighth floor balcony of the Galeries Lafayette, with the Garnier Opera in front, and the viewpoint on top of the dome of the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur which can be reached by a side staircase of the church: the view is 360 degrees and really spectacular.- The Canal Saint Martin is one of the most pleasant walks in the city. The crossing of this little brother of the Seine, 4.5 kilometers long, lasts almost three hours and is an alternative to the bateau-mouche tours. The boat departs from the Arsenal, next to the Bastille, and ends at the dock of La Villette.
