Want to discover the essentials of Egypt in one trip? Then you will start your trip to Egypt in the capital, Cairo, visiting the famous pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum. Afterwards, you will head to Aswan, the city from which your ship will depart. Spain/Cairo

Departure by direct flight to Cairo. Arrival and accommodation.

day 2

Cairo

Breakfast. Morning visit of the necropolis of Giza with the famous Pyramids of Chephren, Mykerinos and Cheops (entrance to the Pyramids not included), the Sphinx and the lower temple. Afternoon at leisure with possibility to visit the necropolis of Saqqara (optional).

day 3

Cairo

Breakfast and visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the largest concentration of pharaonic pieces in the world. Continuation to the Islamic and Christian Cairo in the Citadel of Saladin, with the Mosque of Mohamed Ali or “alabaster‘’, panoramic view of the Coptic Quarter and the bazaar of Khan el Khalili. Lodging.

day 4

Cairo/Aswan

Full board. Departure by flight to Aswan. Arrival and boarding of the motorboat. Afternoon visit to the High Dam and the unfinished Obelisk. Free time to stroll around the city and enjoy the spice market.

day 5

Aswan/Kom Ombo/Edfu

Full board. Possibility of optional visit of Abu Simbel by bus. Start of navigation to Kom Ombo, to visit the temple dedicated to the god Sobek, the crocodile. Navigation to Edfu.

day 6

Edfu/Esna/Luxor

Full board. Morning visit to the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus, and the best preserved of Egypt. Navigation to Esna, enjoying the scenery offered by the Nile. Cross the lock and continue to Luxor.

day 7

Luxor

Half board. Disembarkation. Departure to the west bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings (including three tombs, not including the tomb of Tutankhamun), the Deir el Bahari temple or temple of the pharaoh Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon or temple of Amenophis III, the Temple of Karnak dedicated to the god Amun where highlights the Hypostyle Hall and the large dimensions of the enclosure, the Temple of Luxor called ''the harem of Amun''. There are practically no triple rooms; these are usually double rooms with a small folding bed or sofa, so we do not recommend using them for 3 adults. Also, there is no discount for this additional bed.
The order of the visits may be altered depending on internal flights and the navigation of the motor vessel.
The itinerary is based on Sunday departures.
