Departure by flight to Luxor, via Cairo. Arrival and boarding of the motorboat.
Full board. Departure to the west bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Deir el Bahari temple or temple of the pharaoh Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon or temple of Amenophis III. Continuation with the visit of the Temples of Karnak and Luxor, dedicated to the god Amun. Return to the ship and start sailing to Esna and Edfu.
Full board. In the morning, visit to the temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus and the best preserved temple in Egypt. Return to the ship and continue sailing to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, visit the temple dedicated to the god Sobek, the crocodile, in Kom Ombo. Sailing to Aswan.
Full board. Morning excursion by car to the temples of Abu Simbel, erected by Ramses II and located at the foot of Lake Nasser. In the afternoon, visit the High Dam of Aswan and the unfinished obelisk. Rest of the afternoon and evening to stroll through one of the most important markets of the spice route, the souk of Aswan.
Half board. Free morning, lunch on the motorboat. Departure by flight to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Breakfast. Morning visit of the necropolis of Giza with the famous Pyramids of Chephren, Mykerinos and Cheops (entrance to the Pyramids not included), the Sphinx and the lower temple. Afternoon at leisure with possibility to visit the necropolis of Saqqara (optional).
Half board. Early in the morning we will depart for Alexandria, Egypt's most important Mediterranean city. We will start touring the Alexandrian port to visit the Citadel of Qaitibay from the outside. This defensive complex was built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitibay, right in the same place where the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria used to stand. Several earthquakes destroyed the watchtower, the remains of which were used to build the Citadel. Then we will move to the south of the city, where we will access the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, one of the most outstanding of Alexandria, showing the fusion between Egyptian and Greco-Roman culture. We will go into its three different levels to know the passages, tunnels and galleries along which the tombs of the necropolis are distributed. Very close to these catacombs we will find Pompey's Column, located in the place where the temple dedicated to the Greek-Egyptian god Serapis was located. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most important modern buildings in the city: the New Library of Alexandria. This contemporary building, reopened in 2002, is one of the most important cultural spaces in the Eastern Mediterranean. (In case the visit to Alexandria is on Friday, the Library will be visited on Saturday morning).
Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo. Free time at leisure.
Breakfast and visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the largest concentration of pharaonic pieces in the world. Continuation to the Islamic and Christian Cairo in the Citadel of Saladin, with the Mosque of Mohamed Ali or '' alabaster '', panoramic view of the Coptic Quarter and the Khan el Khalili bazaar.
Breakfast. Departure by flight back to Spain. Arrival.
