The exciting marine safari excursion around the Pacific and Sea of Cortez in Cabo San Lucas offers more than just observation: it provides the unique opportunity to interact and swim with the amazing marine life. We will venture out on a private boat from the Cabo San Lucas Marina and after capturing the iconic image by the arch, the expedition focuses on scanning the horizon for signs of marine life, such as sprays, splashes and surface movements. The direction of travel is adjusted according to previous sightings. Lunch on board before disembarkation. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.
We will live a unique experience swimming alongside the largest fish in the ocean: the whale shark. These gentle giants feed on plankton and travel long distances in search of food to maintain their enormous size, which can measure up to 18 metres long and weigh up to 11 tons. We will enjoy a scenic drive along the Pacific coast to the centre of La Paz and board a private ‘panga style’ boat with our local guide. Lunch on board and return to the hotel.
We will immerse ourselves in the underwater world of one of the world's most pristine marine sanctuaries. Vibrant marine life, Cabo Pulmo is one of the largest and most diverse coral reefs in North America. We will board our private boat and get up close to bull sharks, huge schools of jacks, friendly sea turtles and curious sea lions. Lunch on board. Return to the hotel.
Free time until transfer time for departure flight back to Spain. Overnight on board.
