Departure by flight to Abu Dhabi. Arrival and accommodation.
Breakfast and half-day tour of Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi is the largest of the seven Emirates and is where most of the embassies and oil companies are located. It is the richest city in the world. Our tour includes a stop at the famous Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the third largest in the world. We then drive into the city, seeing the palaces of the sheikhs and stop in front of the majestic Emirates Palace Hotel for a photo session. We will take a short drive through the city to see the heritage and styles of the culture and life of the past. We will then drive past the Al Husin Palace, the white palace built in 1761 in Abu Dhabi. We will pass through the cultural roundabout and stop at its market, where vendors offer their wares from all over the Middle East. Afternoon at leisure to relax on the beach or enjoy the city at your leisure.
Breakfast. During this day you will be able to enjoy the two most important theme parks in Abu Dhabi (transfers not included). Tickets to the spectacular Warner Bros. park, the largest indoor park in the world, where you can enjoy all kinds of attractions for all ages. You will also have access to the Ferrari World park with its rides, museum, shop and the different restaurants. In case they do not want the tickets, guests will be offered lunch at the spectacular Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi (drinks and transfers not included).
Breakfast. Departure by road to Dubai.
Half board. Visit of the fascinating city of Dubai. We start with the Governor's Palace and the historic Bastakiya quarter, a reproduction of the old quarter with its famous wind towers. The Al Fahidi Fort takes us back some 210 years and is where we find the current Dubai Museum (currently closed for renovation). We will then cross the Dubai Creek with the ‘Abra’, a typical water taxi, before visiting the spice and gold markets. Afterwards we will stop at the Union House and continue to the Jumeirah Mosque. Continue along Jumeirah beach to see the symbol of the city, the Burj Al Arab hotel. We will then drive along Palm Island and stop to see the largest hotel in the Middle East, the Atlantis Hotel. Then drive along Sheikh Zayed Road to the city centre, where the world's tallest tower, the ‘Burj Khalifa’ is located next to the impressive Dubai Mall. In the evening transfer for a typical dinner cruise on the Creek.
Half board. Free time until we pick you up at the hotel to go by 4x4 to the desert. On this excursion we will feel all the adrenaline of driving over huge dunes, enjoying the breathtaking scenery. In the evening we will head to the Bedouin camp where we can enjoy a camel ride, get a henna tattoo, smoke shisha, dress up as Emiratis or even buy some souvenirs. Finally we will have a barbecue dinner while enjoying a dancer who will delight us with the famous belly dance.
